We depart south on Route 23, where we will have breakfast before beginning our tour of the Tropic of Capricorn. We will then visit the Red Rocks at Aguas Calientes Lagoon, where we will take an approximately 2-hour hike to see the formations and colors of the lagoons.
On the way back, we will pass by Miscanti and Meñiques Lagoons, where we can also take a walk along the lagoon to observe the flora and fauna.
Then we continue along the road to the heart of the Atacama Salt Flat, to Chaxa Lagoon, where we can observe flamingos.
Lunch will be served in Toconao or San Pedro at a restaurant, depending on the number of people in Toconao.
