We depart from the hotel, heading south along Route 23, and stop in the village of Toconao to visit the town square and its church. We then continue along the edge of the salt flat (Salar) before beginning our ascent to the village of Socaire, located at an altitude of 3,300 meters above sea level. Here, breakfast is provided, and we also visit local churches and an area featuring terraced agricultural plots. We continue our ascent until we reach the high-altitude lagoons of Miscanti and Meñiques; at this site, you can take a short, approximately 30-minute walk along a designated trail. After visiting the second lagoon, Meñiques, we return to San Pedro.
