I.- CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION:
\nDAY 1: (SANTIAGO) \u2013 COPIAP\u00d3 \u2013 VALLE CHICO
\nArrival at Copiap\u00f3 airport. Transfer to Valle Chico, where we will camp (3,000m). (L, D)
\nDAY 2: VALLE CHICO \u2013 LAGUNA STA ROSA
\nA short acclimatization hike in the vicinity of the campsite. The journey continues toward the high plateau (altiplano). Arrival at Laguna Santa Rosa (3,800m), where we can observe pink flamingos and the 6,753m-high Tres Cruces volcano. Setting up our camp. (B, L, D)
\nDAY 3: STA ROSA LAGOON (Trekking)
\nAcclimatization day at Laguna Santa Rosa. High-altitude trekking. Camping. (B, L, D)
\nDAY 4: SANTA ROSA LAGOON \u2013 GREEN LAGOON
\nWe enter the high-plateau region. Along the way, we can see some of the highest volcanoes on the planet: Tres Cruces (6,753m), Incahuasi (6,621m), and Ojos del Salado (6,893m). We will camp near the natural hot springs by the beautiful Laguna Verde (4,400m). (B,L,D)
\nDAY 5: GREEN LAGOON (Trekking)
\nRest day and acclimatization trek in the Laguna Verde area. (B, L, D)
\nDAY 6: LAGUNA VERDE \u2013 UNIVERSIDAD DE ATACAMA REFUGE
\nAscent to Camp 1. Overnight stay at the Universidad de Atacama refuge (5,250m). (B, L, D)
\nDAY 7: UNIVERSIDAD DE ATACAMA REFUGE \u2013 TEJOS REFUGE \u2013 UNIVERSIDAD DE ATACAMA REFUGE
\nCarry to Tejos refuge (5,750m) and return to Atacama refuge. (B, L, D)
\nDAY 8: ATACAMA UNIVERSITY REFUGE \u2013 TEJOS REFUGE
\nClimb to camp 2 (Tejos shelter) and camp. (D,A,C)
\nDAY 9: TEJOS REFUGE \u2013 SUMMIT \u2013 TEJOS REFUGE
\nAscent to the Salt Eye (6893m). Return to the Tejos shelter. (D,A,,C)
\nDAY 10: TEJOS REFUGE \u2013 GREEN LAGOON
\nDescent to Green Lagoon or second summit attempt. (D,A,C)
