We depart from the hotel heading south on Route 23, stopping in the town of Toconao, where we will visit the main square and its church. We then continue along the edge of the salt flats until we begin our ascent to Socaire at 3,300 meters above sea level. Breakfast is included here, and we will also visit churches and terraced agricultural areas. We then continue ascending to the high-altitude lagoons of Miscanti and Meñiques. Here you can take a short hike of approximately 30 minutes on a designated trail. After visiting the Meñiques lagoon, we return to San Pedro.
